New Transformers Animated characters Jetfire and Jetstorm have been introduced as a double figure “entertainment pack”. The two figures appear to have a combined mode. A sign of things to come in the new series? We can only hope.

You can preorder the pack at bigbadtoystore.

TFW2005 have reported several sightings of the new Transformers Animated Kids Costumes, which appear to have hit stores just in time for Halloween. Those cats never miss a trick.

And for the record, yes, if these were available in adult sizes, they would be our new favourite clothes here at Watch Transformers Animated.

TWF2005 have released official images of the new Leader Class Bulkhead with Activators Bumblebee value pack to be exclusively available at Toys R Us in the United States.

Interestingly, the activators Bumblebee is actually closer to his size in the show when compared to the Ratchet, Prowl, Prime and Bulkhead figures than his deluxe toy… and lets face it, the Activator gimmick is cooooool. So to have Bumblebee thrown in with (the already excellent) Bulkhead leader figure makes this a great value set, worth picking up.

Stock images have been released of the new Leader Megatron repaint, known as “Shadow Blade” Megatron. Given the purple highlights they chose, it’s a (pleasant) surprise that this hasn’t been labelled “Galvatron”, but we still prefer the original colour scheme, due to it’s G1 looks. Still, an awesome figure.

Official stock images have been released of the new Ultra Magnus repaint, known as “Roadbuster” Ultra Magnus. A pretty good repaint of an awesome figure, except that they left his head blue! Surely matching green would have fitted better?

TFormers.com has posted the cover artwork for the upcoming Transformers Animated game for the Nintendo DS.

The following footage from the game has been posted to YouTube and - shock! - it doesn’t look like it sucks! I’ll be picking up a copy for sure.

The new Transformers Animated Shockwave deluxe action figure has been featured by TFormers.com. The image to the left (click to enlarge) shows his FOUR modes, including his alternate tank mode and his “Autobot” alter-ego “Longarm”, complete with alternate crane (!) mode.

In spite of a slightly ropey looking crane mode, I expect this one will be a big seller thanks to a great overall design coupled with a multiple transformation gimmick. Check out the video review below, and grab one if you can.

TFormers.com have featured images of another Transformers Animated Target Exclusive,  Deluxe Stealth Lockdown, who is bundled in with Legends Optimus Prime & Bumbelbee.

This figure is bound to appeal to the many fans of limited edition clear Transformers we’ve seen before. I can only assume his “stealth” ability is a new upgrade he’s nicked from one of his victims. Naughty Lockdown.

TFormers.com has revealed images of the Transformers Animated Rescue Ratchet action figure, which comes bundled with Legends versions of Starscream and Prowl.

Why is Ratchet yellow? You tell me. It could suggest a change for Ratchet in Season 3, or could just be an exchange of colours in homage to the green-yellow colour of Movie Ratchet. In the same way, the “Rescue” version of the Movie Ratchet toy exchanged the green-yellow colour for a red-white combination very similar to Animated Ratchet’s original appearance.
